Ohio is redneck as hell
Ohio is a weird state. For a state with the seventh highest total population in the US, it still has a lot of remote rural areas where the town population is less than 20,000 people

Outside of the major metros the US is just about equally redneck.
New Hampshire and Vermont have no metro areas and still don’t feel redneck at all. To be honest, redneck only applies to Southern and Midwestern states.

There are definitely large parts of New Hampshire that are redneck as hell.

Love Ohio. If I could get a good price for me home and a comparable job in Cincy I'd move there this second. Become a Bengals superfan and relive my NOLA glory days of 2001 - 2011. Either buy a rehabbable MCM home in the near suburbs and / or a downtown condo.

That thing has more mud on it
That thing looks pristine compared to the one my dad uses on the farm and for hunting. You can get mud in the tire area without ever driving it off of the road.

Ok sure, but they are also tiny arse states. Look on a map and neither is really that far from major metros even if they are in different states.
But I know 2 rednecks from New Hampshire just be chance.

Maine as well, you will see way, way more rebel flags flying in Maine than anywhere in the SE these days.
