Did they slander the kid? I thought the mom ran to Kiran with it and the school didn't comment. What did I miss?

Then if the school didnt make a statement on the record then none of this ever happened
I guess we will find out the real story in discovery and depositions.

That scholarship is year to year....it's not a 4 year scholarship
I know, but for all intents and purposes it’s a four year commitment from the legislator, unless they lose the seat or the student doesn’t maintain their gpa.

a recommendation from this tool was pulled back, not a scholarship...
Try getting one without a recommendation from the principal.

Someone mentioned earlier that the father may not be in the picture. Perhaps the principal decided to insert himself into this role for her and felt entitled to have these discussions.

the school has no code of conduct in it's rule book
The school hand book supposedly doesn’t, but clubs, student council, sport teams usually have additional rules. Not sure if accurate but someone said council is picked not elected. I had to scroll through several different ones besides main handbook and sign off that we understood for kids.
Additional ones would still not be religious based, but various “good” behaviors or morals don’t have to be overtly religious. Principal might have added on religion as part of explanation which would still be problematic but not basis for his decision.
If by chance alcohol was involved and at party In Louisiana I think the mom can supply alcohol to her daughter but not other minors at her daughter’s party (I think).
I am going to have to check some recent comments, but I was surprised earlier that no one was coming into discussion saying they knew they girl & mom or had kids at the party and so on with more insider info.

Don't worry me, Yote, and GrandmaGreenie will put a good word in with Saint Peter once we get through those pearly gates. Since we're good Catholics

It is a one year scholarship, definitely. It renews every April. But it’s a fairly rare event to change the recipient before graduation unless the legislator loses their seat or the student doesn’t make grades. Excepting those two events, nearly all recipients keep it for 4 years.

The same principal who had an affair with a bus driver he is now married to and whose son let 4 students into the HS with his fathers master key where they vandalized the school and could not walk for graduation but his son did- that guy is preaching, oh ok..
