It isn't stupid. They want guys to be well groomed. We had this same rule in Catholic school.
Why do they care? What difference does it make.
He should identify as a female. Lol.

Are you serious with this shite?
A high school has dress standards that everyone has to follow. It's not a law, it just a requirement to attend class there.
It's no different that a school requiring a uniform. It's absurd to compare that to state/federal law.

Dude needs to shave that shite on his upper lip.

It doesn't matter why and it doesn't matter what difference it makes. It's the rule laid out by the school in the handbook you receive in day one.
He knows the rules. You can't just break them and expect them to change just because you don't want to follow them.

About hair? Right.

Yeah this greasy haired baw with a 1940s train robber looking mustache is so well groomed.

Kinda is a law.

You can fight the system and win. That is how the system changes.
Anyone that cares about a guys hair needs something else to focus on.

Then cut your hair. It's not hard.
Graduate and grow it back out if you want.

I haven't had a "brother Martin approved haircut" since I graduated... I'm incredibly successful in my career and am a supervisor... so what was that hair policy supposed to teach me again??

They were having this stupid fight about hair length in the early 70's. I don't understand if it is an issue of showing dominance or if the code writers are just gay. Who cares what someone else does with their hair?
It is just hair. frick off with your little rules about hair. And for all those that had to keep it short for Catholic school, are you out of therapy yet? Was the priest arrested?

Nope nope nope
Have you been reading this thread.
You cannot succeed in life with long hair and wanting to change the system.
What decade is this again?

I went to a Catholic school and got bitched out by a teacher for my long hair. Went to principal's office, who sided with me: "He's in a band. Just thank God he doesn't wear makeup"
frick man, the 80s rocked.

Oh damn... well... guess my whole life, job, and salary are a lie...thank you haircut policy! You are the only truth.

Sounds like you're projecting.
It's not your fault.

This is the stupidest fricking mindset. I guess no rule should ever change or be challenged? That's like parents who create rules for their children and when they are asked why they respond "because I said so". That's not a reason.

I don't work at the school so I don't know their reason.
I know at my school, we had to shave everyday and hair couldn't be at the collar or below the eyebrows. We wore coat and tie and were supposed to look better than this kid:
He looks like Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite with long hair after a few weeks of working out.

Okay. 1. That was a private school. 2. Do you think that affected your ability to succeed in life?
