I love Waffle House, anyone who doesn’t immediately can't be my friend.

I like the Waffle House. Nice place to grab a bite after watching football.

Reporting in from a Waffle House. Picking up a late breakfast for my elderly parents.
Circus as usual. Six people working and I can’t figure out what each of their jobs are. Lots of yelling back and forth.
I’m getting a to go order and it didn’t help that six early 20’s women came in before me and each ordered separate to go orders.

Every Sunday my son and I have lunch at one of two local waffle houses and sit at the counter to watch the action. Even though every seat is packed, 2/3rds of the orders coming off the grill are going into to-go containers for pickup orders. Easily more than half of their orders around lunch on Sunday are to-go orders. It really backs up the pipeline. Oh, and when picking up their to-go orders "can I also get a cup of ice water? Oh can I also get four more jelly packets? No, the grape kind. Oh and can I get some extra napkins?"

Or the Karen who ordered online and the website told her 1:15 it would be ready, she shows up at 1:15 and the place is a disaster zone in a lunch rush, and raises her voice to the clerk because her order wasn't ready at exactly 1:15.

To-go orders are killing the Waffle House experience.

Dat here for 35 minutes and I finally got up to ask what was happening.
They either lost my ticket or gave my food to someone else. Mass confusion.
Guess I just have bad luck with Waffle House.

I went early this morning because I couldn't sleep last night. It wasn't crowded and my omelet was good. I was able to get a seat that didn't hurt my bad hip. Waitress was very nice and chatted with me about football for a couple of minutes.

Went to the Ole Miss v Gamecocks game, bugged out early in the 4th it was getting cold for my 5yr old companion and the game was essentially over.

Ole miss people never shut up about the great food scene in Oxford and we didn’t want to miss out. We beat the rush and rolled into the local Waffle House on the way back to Tennessee. We loaded the touch tunes with classic country and enjoyed the classic post game breakfast of champions. Solid 8/10 on the food, slightly under on the eggs and hash browns but perfect cook on meats and waffles, overall solid. Restroom was a 12/10 on Waffle House cleanliness scale.

Kenner.
When I asked about my order, three of them were digging through their ticket books trying to find it. The cook yelled that she remembered making it. Very simple double egg plate with both being the same.

Yea…probably not a good move to talk about Karen Carpenter and Waffle House at the same time.

I take my kids to Waffle house once a month or so for breakfast on Saturdays. They need to understand that Waffle House is America, that it's democracy, that it's the great equalizer, and that it's delicious.

Nelson Rd WH was the only real restaurant open in LC after hurricane laura. I rolled in to a line outside but had plenty of time to get to the office so I waited. Little old lady comes up and asked if it was a line to get in, well yes it was. I took her order (2 orders of pecan waffles) 30 min later I walk out with my bag and hers. She looks in her bag and complains that I didn’t get any butter
I wouldn’t let her pay and she’s bitching about butter.

As someone who travels a lot for business, I really appreciate the fact I know I can go in to just about any Waffle House anywhere and get a damned good breakfast pretty much anytime I like.
