I enjoy people watching at Waffle House while eating my ham and cheese omelette with grits and toast as much as I like people watching while shopping at Walmart.

I remember taking my sorority girl daughter there one morning after a really great LSU football game on Saturday night. In classic sorority girl fashion she said, “oh my God dad I don’t do public.” It was a great coaching moment. She’s turned out pretty normal since that day.
