Do you really believe that that is an actual depiction of what you would see with your naked eye at night from space?

This is cool as hell, real time images from the Japanese Himawari satellite. You can see the smoke from the fires on it and how it blows far out into the South Pacific.

I play tennis and love to watch tennis when I can. The Australian Open is down there in a few weeks. I wonder if these fires will affect the tournament or even cause it to be cancelled.

Looks like all of Melbourne is essentially on fire right now. Plus I can only imagine the horrible air quality.

It will be even more beautiful than it used to be in about 3-5 years, plus there will be, like way fewer animals to kill you. Hopefully they’ll make it more affordable to travel there to help rebuild tourism.

Payback for what they did to the aboriginal population, I’m sure has been posited.

LucasP prolly would have been able to stop this shite had he still been posting here.

I just venmo'd Greta Thuneberg my entire Louisiana Purchase cash stipend rollover for the month of December and I have never felt so personally empowered to be given the opportunity to MEGA.
