Visiting a loved one/friend at their bedside and having massive chest pains soon after that visit happened to my friend tonight.

I do not know what happened. What caused him to have this ailment tonight? Does anyone here in the med field know?

Thank you.

Only love can break a heart. Only love can mend it again.

You'll be visiting your loved one/friend at his bedsise. I suggest you get drunk beforehand so the heart attack cycle is broken.

Hopefully he got checked out for a heart attack.

If not that, grief can cause all types physical manifestations. Seeing someone face there mortality can trigger panic attacks in people.

You just overloaded us with so many details that it’s hard to diagnose.

He had a mild heart episode.

He's doing well. He's 37. He was just a little stressed out because a friend of ours is in the hospital.

Same happened to me the week after my father died. Laying in bed and having chest pains pretty sure it was anxiety related as it’s been almost four years and I am still alive

Could have been stress or gastro related. Could have been your friend’s heart. Did he go to the ER?

He might have a 23 inch toy stuck up in there. No worry, though, because they just invented something to pull it out.

shite’s contagious. When my pawpaw was sent to Baptist in Jackson to get some cancer stuff checked out, the fam followed and while waiting, my dad had a heart attack which led to some stints and a few days later, mawmaw wasn’t feeling good, so they ultrasounded her carotids which led to the discovery of 99 & 98% blockages and subsequent stints. Bad stuff comes in threes.
