This is all crazy considering wwe probably as big mainstream as it has been in 20+ years.
Perception, maybe, but I don’t think the business is as good as it was from 1998-2001 when it was on fire.

So here’s the thing there’s that one story on Pat.

There's more than one story on Pat. He was a Homosexual Predator no different than Jerry Sandusky. Homosexuals like Pat Patterson can't control themselves in an environment around a bunch of juiced up sweaty men or ring boys.

Problem with the stories on Pat was getting people to come forward because it was a career death sentence.
Not that they didn’t probably happen as much as few would admit it if they did.

quote:Worse yet he made it a joke during the Attitude Era. I had heard the stories so I knew exactly what they were sliding to when they had a promo about Pat's rear end work. Hell, the OTE '98 set was a shrine to the joke.
Vince also allowed perverted Homosexuals like Pat Patterson to harass and sexually blackmail wrestlers for movement in the company.

“16 men went down in Rio and Pat came out on top.” - Jerry Lawler’s recap of Pat becoming the first Intercontinental champion.
And “officially”, the OTE set was a double joke about Pat as well as Gerald Brisco having one of his investments being a body shop with his brother Jack.

Not much different than obsessing over a football team on a message board or spending your time reading conspiracy threads on the OT.

Former TNA and WWE wrestler Trenesha Biggers, who went by the ring name Rhaka Khan, recently filed the court documents necessary to move forward with a $3 billion lawsuit that names Dwayne Johnson as one of the defendants in an alleged kidnapping, which Inside the Magic covered previously. Biggers claims that Johnson and his business partner, Dany Garcia, made plans to abduct her and her children in 2008
quote:
Biggers alleges that Johnson and Garcia sent three men who forcibly removed her from her house in Tampa, Florida. She claims she was taken to a hotel in Miami, Florida and abused both physically and mentally while being confined there. She alleges that both Johnson and Garcia threatened to harm her if she did not obey their demands. Some other defendants named in the lawsuit are, The State of Texas, The El Paso Child Protective Services, The Las Cruces, New Mexico Police Department, The NYPD, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, New York ACS, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Shirley Police Department, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Suffolk County NY, Bank of America, Home Depot, and even the FBI.

Yeah but it’s getting close. They’re selling out multiple days of stadiums quickly, the new Netflix deal, etc. wrestling is pretty popular again.

they just signed a 5 billion dollar Netflix deal. business is much much better than it was in the 90s

United States District Court Judge Laura Taylor Swain dismissed former TNA and WWE developmental wrestler Trenesha "Rhaka Khan" Biggers' lawsuit against Johnson, as well as a plethora of others, for alleged kidnapping, stemming from Biggers's 2019 arrest on charges of interference with child custody and "aggravated kidnapping facilitate." Biggers' lawsuit alleges that a group of nearly 1,000 people conspired to kidnap her children when her children were taken from her after the arrest.
Before her 2019 arrest, Biggers was one of the most wanted fugitives in El Paso, Texas due to her attempts to escape the charges.

Closest I got was watching Undertaker come close to killing Test by losing his balance during a Last Ride.

Mental illness in wrestling is nothing new.
Billy Jack Haynes alone could probably have his own wing in the “WWE Crazy HOF”, and that was before he killed his wife a few weeks ago.

Yea - Roddy Piper got very visibly upset in a shoot about Pat Patterson even though he never went into detail about what exactly happened. This surely sounds alot worse than just "he didn't like me".
Piper On Patterson

Piper had a lot of demons and was also not afraid to frick with people in public, such as calling out Vince Russo on air for his part in Owen Hart’s death. (Piper claims to be a Hart cousin)
Something disturbing him like that had to be pretty messed up and IIRC the unspoken implication is that Pat and Lord Alfred Hayes abused him.

I'm wondering if Vince will be allowed on WWE to address his issues like he did for the Dope trial.
LOL, no.
Vince had an honorific position as chairman after the sale because of how many voting shares of WWE stock he had but he had no power. And he lost that honorific after the shite hit the fan about the shite hitting the hair.

Thanks to this story now whenever I meet a woman I find myself wondering if she’s the type to let a man shite on her.
