I like how they say
Then later include
I'm pretty sure she was right about the situation.

Garardot (sp) believed Chapman was having an affair with her husband
Then later include
quote:
Mark Gerardot discovered the bodies after coming by Chapman’s home when she didn’t show up to meet him for dinner that same night.
I'm pretty sure she was right about the situation.

I wonder how that was going if the cheating man was going to come by the mistress' house to check on her. Maybe the Chapmans were no longer together, or Mr. Chapman was known to be out of town.

He'll be touching himself a lot now, with both his women gone.

Why do people like this even get married? BOTH of them get married and then proceed to screw around on their spouse? And apparently all of them are what we would call educated, high-profile(ish) people in their community.

Education level never matters, neither does being rich. I think it's actually worse with them.

Possibly a big life insurance check as well.

Predictably, the blonde is dumb and the husband is getting the best deal possible here.
If the blonde had been smarter she would have simply filed for divorce and cleaned out the husband. The affair probably wouldn't outlast the divorce proceedings, and the wife would have his money.
On a related note, affairs seem to be pretty common among people in marketing. Most of them are relatively good-looking and lie professionally.

I agree. But one would like to think that these folks might be better at looking ahead and realizing how much could actually go wrong and what they could lose and make rational choices.
