This why I could not teach at the undergraduate level. If they don't care, I don't care. I've been in that position and it's demoralizing. Sometimes there are a handful of students who give a shxt, and it's usually the kids who went to the not so good high schools.
College professors and instructors do not have the proper training to educate the unwilling. That's what high school and primary school teachers are trained to do.
