Few months back I went to a 2nd line on Toladano with some friends who's house was on the route and I took one of his kids 4 wheelers all the way from Galvez to around Carondolet. True story. ATVs in an urban environment is much more fun than back woods mud bullshite.

you should see the amount of sxs's, 4 wheelers and golf carts along LA1 and the beach in Grand Isle any given weekend during the summer and especially for the Tarpon Rodeo.....over half of the people driving are underage and drinking and the cops dont say a word.....and they wont until someone gets killed, and thats going to be any day now

Even after one of them dies I wouldn't say anything. Who cares? Ultimate prize for a pretty stupid game. More prizes should be handed out.

This shite goes on a lot on hwys in rural areas. For anyone who thinks its just a black thing, its not. Stupid fricking white trashy kids do this shite and I almost smoked one of them one day. Kid pulled out of a wooded area onto the road and didn't even look to see if a car was coming then popped it up to do a wheelie...

Sometimes I will see a group of them.. usually 4 or 5 all riding together doing stupid shite. Is it bad that I get so pissed that I wish one of them would have a bad accident just to teach them fricks a lesson?

That's ridiculous and hilarious when I picture it happening in my head.

Registering an ATV in Louisiana Unless you use your all-terrain vehicle (ATV) solely for agricultural purposes, you must register it with the LA OMV. To register your ATV, bring the title, bill of sale, and proof of insurance to your local Louisiana OMV office. The registration fee is $3 per year for 4 years. The LA OMV will send you a reminder notice with renewal instructions shortly before your registration is set to expire. Although it's important to register your ATV in a timely fashion, registration does not offer unlimited driving privileges. Regardless of whether or not your ATV is legally registered, you may not operate it in Louisiana's state parks. You are allowed to drive an ATV only on public land and roads that are clearly marked as designated for use by off-highway vehicles.

They travel in packs up and down Airline Highway, between Causeway Blvd to the Orleans/Jefferson parish line, mostly on weekends but I've seen them on weekdays in afternoons now too.

3 of them nearly ran into our car last Sunday midday as we turned onto Airline, coming from Metairie Playground. They had run the red light and had to scatter among the cars obeying the traffic lights. They continued to circle and terrorize everyone who had turned with the light all the way to around the London Lodge, disappearing into Hollygrove. All the riders looked like the guys in the original video, plus their faces were covered with halloween masks or t-shirts.

We called 911 and I hoped the State Police would be nearby, as they usually patrol that stretch heavily on weekends. I've seen State Police out there everyday since the weekend.

It would've made my day to see one catch a pothole, while doing a wheelie, using their free hand to wave gang signs and screaming at the cars around them.
