% of each item would reduce violent crime:
46% stricter gun control laws
51% stricter enforcement of current gun control laws
55% increasing police funding
65% using social workers to help police force
75% increase funding for economic opportunities in poor areas.
this poll data is bewilders me.
is it that the people they are polling are all inner city and likely left leaning?
do the people being polled not realize that throwing further tax payer money at this will do nothing?
when you say stricter enforcement of gun control laws - what laws? and for who?
what i am quite sure of from this data is that the media's constant gaslighting of the violent crime in large metropolitans is effective to say the least.

Like a warzone. Id love for the nation guard to get called in but you know the result will be the gangsters getting slaughtered because they will shoot at the guard but they have a good shot.
