At the least, giving coke to a recovering cokehead makes you a major a-hole.
Part of the irritation with Dick on that subject is that he seems clueless that he did anything wrong by giving her coke.

I mean, did she ask for it?
It’d be one thing if he snuck it into her system against her will, but if a consenting adult asks for drugs and you give it to them, everything that happens next is on them, no?
Maybe he’s not the best friend or influence, but it’s a stretch to put blame on him.
