Video catches Tampa PD in lies, making trumped up charges against innocent man

Story goes like this. Cops are called to a Tampa bar after a guy gets knocked out. Someone there fingers this guy, a local fire fighter and member of the Outlaws MC, they go to arrest him. The cops claim he was "combative" and assaulted a police officer so they had to taze him. There's only one problem, none of it is true as video proves...
Video 1: Shows guy fully cooperating with cops who go ahead and taze him anyway
Video 2: Shows clearly he was not the guy who knocked out the other guy in the first place
Thankfully since the truth has come out, the Tampa PD has been forced to drop all charges...

Just another instance of cops being jackbooted thugs thinking they're above the law.

When cops do good they deserve credit. But as any good cop will tell you, the bad ones give everyone else a bad reputation.

So you want to go looking for video so you can pat cops on the back for actually doing they job they signed up to do? I don't get it.
Nobody should ever be rewarded for doing something that was expected of them.

This is a instance of a police officer not doing his job in a legal or professional manner and I hope he will soon be looking for employment in another area. Officers like this only make the jobs of most police officers harder.

Did you see he even kicked him in the balls while he was down on the floor? Sounds like assault and battery charges should apply to the cop here among other charges.

Those cops deserve whatever punishment they get and there certainly should be some. That one cop should spend some time in jail. I am a big proponent of the police but that one cop is not in it to protect and serve

One of my closest friends is a cop. Our boys grew up playing sports together and he and I coached both baseball and football together for years. I don't have a general hate for cops. What I hate is bad cops.

Agreed 100%. Chris Rock has a stand up about this called "Black people vs *guess what fits here*". In it he says certain types of black people expect recognition of things they are supposed to do. Like "I take care of my kid!" or "I've never been to jail!" Congratulations, want a cookie?
