Meanest DI at MCRD San Diego in the 80's was from Guam. That is all I know about Guam. Figured they are all mean and hard there.

I worked at Outback years ago. The manager had worked at an Outback in Guam in the late 90s. He said the got hit by a big typhoon once and the safest place on the island was the Outback. It had plexiglass panoramic windows rated to withstand a coconut at like 300 mph. And a generator. He said they just watched the storm, ate steaks, and drank beer.

I’ve always loved that story. Still tell it to this day.
