High top Chucks......I still have the ones I wore to the US Times farewell show in 1984. Dont wear them much but they still are in good shape. I have newer ones that I wear now.

Except for like the entirety of the late 1980s and 1990s.

Chucks have made a strong comeback, and they dominated for much of the mid 20th century, but you could hardly find a pair during that stretch.

thats ok

they are passable with some jeans or pants covering them but i think they look stupid with any kind of shorts

they expose too much leg. You have to have athletic ankles & toned legs to pull them off
