Valerie Harper was a Broadway/Film/TV dancer and actress. She created a persona on the Mary Tyler Moore show (in the 1970's) that was similar to the Julia Dreyfus character (Elaine) on Seinfeld... RIP

Enjoyed her work.

Was single-handedly responsible for giving Sandy Duncan a career second wind, when she made big money demands on “Valerie” and lost the lead spot on the sitcom named after her.
