So what's up with the encampment behind the Kangaroo at the corner Ochsner Blvd and 21? Surprised the land owner is allowing it and the Sheriff hasn't rousted them out of there. Maybe someone who posts here lives in the encampment and can tell us what's up.

Are they the same ones always panhandling at the Abita exit?

I think their turf is the 21 interchange. They have a little tent city set up.

They find big swaths of vacant land where the owners live out of town and people can't evict them. It's happened off of Bluebonnet and Jones Creek in BR.

I wish they'd all just go to California where the weather is nice all year around and they have governmental protection.

That's the problem. If the land owners don't complain the po po really can't do anything.

Cops are just a gang of lazy fatasses.

Private citizens should beat the crap out of bums the minute they're spotted, if they're working-age males.
