The Vought SB2U Vindicator is an American carrier-based dive bomber developed for the United States Navy in the 1930s, the first monoplane in this role. Vindicators still remained in service at the time of the Battle of Midway, but by 1943, all had been withdrawn to training units. It was known as the Chesapeake in Royal Navy service.

Best I can remember they don’t. I believe they have its replacement though, the SBD Dauntless dive bomber.

Very nice as usual. What are those 2 rounds with the xtra long bullets in the background? 7.62x54?

I've been following these for months. What do you do with these after you're finished? Do you display them?

Good work but that thing is ugly. Give me a Dauntless every day of the week and twice on Sunday December 7th.

Yeah. Not the most aesthetically pleasing aircraft, thats for sure. And not only was the Dauntless better looking, it was vastly superior in every metric as well.

That is one cool room there. Do you have information displayed with the models or just the model itself?

Just the models themselves. Though, I do save all the instructions in one of the bottom drawers in my desk. I do that in case I decide to ever enter any of them in a model show. They require you include the instructions from the build.
So far I’ve only entered one show. But I won 3rd place in the 1/35 scale armor category. I keep the medal they presented me next to the winning tank..
