I have had a large boom in collecting recently. Almost like I won the lotto or something. Some really unique pieces... I will try to post it all, but time is a scarce commodity and I am trying to work towards other projects at the moment. But I will try.

There is an argument to be made that the Germans would have been better off just grinding out larger numbers of Pz IVs and not diverted so much time/effort/resources into Panthers, Tigers, etc. Their manufacturing/logistics system was inefficient as it was. Staying with one platform would have helped.
Guderian made that argument in March 1943. "1000 good enough tanks will beat 100 perfect tanks." He saw how the numbers game was being won with US Sherman and USSR T-34. His greatest success in this endeavor was the Stug AFVs, but Hitler wouldn't listen about backing off of super weapons.

Nice build as usual, getting to sit in a running Panzer IV in the North African desert for hours on end must have been fun.
We have questions here that deserve answers.

It is a quilt cutting mat, and while Mrs. Vader doesn’t quilt, our daughter does and has one just like it. I got this one because it’s larger and better quality than the hobby mats I’ve seen.

Probably late to the game, but what shelving units are those? Love the weathering. Airbrush or stick? Definitely looks airbrushed...what brand of airbrush?

I got those from Amazon. They’re only like $47 each and take minutes to assemble.

Thanks. But don’t beat yourself up for not being done with your Tiger. This Pz IV was the Tamiya kit from 1975. Super simple. It almost built itself. I think I only had like maybe 20 total hours in it.
Next up though, I’m going to build this one..
Being a Trumpeter kit, I don’t expect this one to be as simple of a build as the Tamiya Pz IV. Right now I plan to do it in East German scheme pretty much as it it on the box cover.

Oh I can't wait to see a work in progress! Do a weekly update or something - I'd like to see the methods you use for various assemblies.

I’ve never modeled any Soviet stuff.
