How many of these kits do you have?

Is there like a collage similar to the scene in Dictator after Aladeen 'seduces' Megan Fox?

Nice!
Just curious, how did the numbering system go from F-86 in the early 50's to todays numbers in the teens.....F-18 etc.?

The downvoters on these threads spent were obviously children who had a dad that rubbed their balls…and they enjoyed it.

In the early sixties, the numbering system was changed. The air force and the navy had different numbering systems, and a standardized system was put in place.
So, the AD Skyraider became the A-1 Skyraider.
The F-110 became the F-4.

Nice job.

I was always a bit surprised the F-86 still used .50 cal guns instead of moving to cannon calibers such as 20mm.

I know they eventually moved to 20mm late in production..

MiG-15 had 2 23mm and 1 37mm....

I think I have somewhere around 150 or so kits in my stash. As I get closer to retirement, I’m trying to build it up.

It’s been a while so n I did a zero. I think I built this one about 5-6 years ago.

My grand father transitioned from the P-47 into the Sabre right before he got out. Told me going from a prop plane to a turbine engine was night and day!!

Said even though the P47 had power, it was still limited.

Love that high bubble canopy.

Must have been crazy loud in the cockpit with the engine under the pilot.
