Ever do NASA models , Apollo, Mercury, moon rover, etc? I’ve always liked these models

No. I stick to armored vehicles and military aircraft, usually WWII era. I’ve built a couple of cars over the years though. But those were for friends who asked me to build them.

I’ve always seeing “Frankenstein” models. They take several models of the same scale and make some crazy designed car, plane, etc.

If do never done a full on “Frankenstein” model. But I do keep spare parts from kits that I may use later on other kits. Usually it’s things like bombs, machine guns, or tools.

I’d hate to see one of those headed toward my ship 10 feet above the waves.

How did you do the camo pattern on the top?

The torpedo looks pretty real. Good work on all the glass. I wish they gave more cockpit detail.

I hand painted it. It wasn’t easy to replicate the random pattern this one had.

Thanks. This one actually had a decent amount of cockpit detail for a 1:72 scale.

I really dig the clean lines of the Japanese aircraft, particularly the Zero and Kate.

Well done.

Have you ever thought about doing diorama versions of these? It always fascinates me when I come across videos of them.

Darth, well done as usual.

Hope you’ve been able to visit the IWM’s Duxford Museum.

It’s great, got a bunch of one of a kind examples there.

The fuselage from Hess’ ME-110D is there on display.
