Package appears "lost." I've submitted an online investigation through USPS last Thursday, but have not heard back from them. I've contacted the merchant as well, but like USPS, I have not heard back from them either.

- Sent an item that I ordered back for a return. Price of item being returned is $450.00. And par for the course, I did not elect for shipping insurance. I did require signature confirmation, which at least provides tracking information.

Am I out $450? Is some USPS worker now wearing a new pair of boots courtesy of me?

I should know better than not to use them, however it was close to where I was that day ... never again.

They got you. You didn't buy the insurance, and some employee saw that and a nice pair of boots, and called it a day

I'd imagine with how often expensive stuff goes missing with UPS, they must have some type of policy where every employee gets to take home one package a day

I agree. The only thing that was nice about them is the manufacturer's "name" and perceived quality of the boot they made.

I thought they were shite. So that's why they went back.

Uh because they are run by the Federal Government, they couldn't even operate a house of ill repute and make a profit.

I always feel like I'm dealing with the mafia when they ask if I want insurance. "Sure would be terrible if something happened to this fine package, you sure you don't want insurance?"

That sucks. I think you get a small amount of insurance included (maybe $50), but I might be thinking about UPS. Look into that at least.

And there's your problem. Ignorant rednecks, white country trash. You can't depend on them.

ETA: Unless you want something shot and killed.

Agreed. I have sent two phones via UPS and both arrived at the buyer's shipping address on time and without any issues.
