Female General. She probably heard he made a pussy joke or something.

The commander of the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, famously known as the Thunderbirds, was relieved last week after the Air Force determined it had "lost confidence" in his leadership style.

According to an Air Force press release, Heard lead the Thunderbirds "through a highly successful show season," but Brig. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, 57th Wing Commander, "lost confidence in his leadership and risk management style."

Why would he be relieved? I would be pretty nervous.

Probably an easy way to save a few hundred thousand.

Too bad. I met him at Nellis AFB back earlier this year. Seemed like a cool dude.

He got caught banging someone or trying to, I'd guess...

Sounds to me like he was having the pilots take risks that the AF deemed inappropriate with their planes.
Too much hotdogging

Also they are literally stunt pilots.

I think it was the Thunderbirds that followed their leader into the ground one day.
So, maybe they take that position a little more serious now.

Rightly or wrongly, I think the words "risk management style" are more likely relavent to his current problem.

The previous incidents weren't with Thunderbird pilots and even stunt pilots can do things that are too risky.

That was a Naval Aviation operation.

"Successful season" sounds like no one was killed or injured.
