No! No! It’s beautiful over there for the LGBTQ people! Haven’t you heard of Dubai?! It’s so progressive and modern!
The media and Hollywood tells us that it’s the evil white demons and the evil orange man in America that are the problem!!!

Can you pull up your’s or anybody else who was outraged at Matt Birk. Or the 3 members of the Fins?
Birk wasn’t only one not there (don’t think 100% ever show up especially with larger team sports). He seemed to only talk about his reasoning for not being there afterwards when asked during a radio show. Don’t think he villainized the country, protested it, made a big deal beforehand (including before winning super bowl) about not going to white house, or tried to force team or any team mates to not go. He also had retired several months before Obama’s speech he had issue with and the later white house event.
He probably still should have gone, but again he also didn’t play for Team USA in a world event, would not have been representing Team USA at the White House, and Baltimore still went without him & the usual number of other players who didn’t go for one reason or another.

Edit: Not sure who the 3 fins are you mentioned or the fins (Dolphins?). Edit2: Just saw it was 3 from 1972 team being honored 40 years after the fact. Team still went along with a lot of other members of team that were still alive at the time. I think I thought whole thing was a waste and tired of hearing about 1972 Dolphins in general, but it’s also not like they just got done representing the USA in International play while tossing flag to ground and protesting anthem due to America’s evil past and present.

I'm happy to live somewhere where they can make that choice. I don't want to live where people can't for fear of retribution. They will be the ones to deal with the consequences of potential loss of popularity or revenue from endorsements should that be the case. Good for them for taking a stand, doesn't hurt anyone of us who may disagree with the way they are doing it. As much as I love sport, I don't really want my federal government spending cash bringing sport teams to the Whitehouse anyway.

You would think Trump fans would accept the fact he’s hated amongst most athletes. This should not be a surprise to anyone.
Because athletes are known to be intelligent, critical thinkers...

Well he is trying to make it as 'men are ok with other men not visiting the white house but angry white men are triggered by women who wont visit the white house '.
If I remember correctly Birk didn't go because of his stance on abortion (once again I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure).
Here is a quote from James Harrison for not going to the white house.
JAames Harrison plans to pass on another trip to the White House with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Harrison, the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, says he'll skip the Super Bowl champion's visit to the White House to meet President Barack Obama on Thursday, just as he did when the Steelers were honored by President George W. Bush in June 2006.
"I don't feel the need to go, actually," Harrison told Pittsburgh station WTAE-TV. "I don't feel like it's that big a deal to me."
Harrison doesn't believe the invitation is all that special, saying if the Steelers hadn't beaten the Cardinals 27-23 with a last-minute rally, "He [Obama] would have invited Arizona."
From the same article. So you see.... you can disagree with the president yet still be an adult and get the praise you deserve.
quote:
Former Steelers linebacker Joey Porter created a stir before that White House visit by saying he intended to tell Bush he didn't like how the country was being run. Porter chose not to make those comments, but he wore dark sunglasses throughout the ceremony.
Harrison used things like this as a form of inspiration. He would think that it was disrespectful that they only got invited because they won a game and he would work out harder. He actually did a work out session after a playoff game.... like after the damn game. I can see and respect why he didn't go (it had nothing to do with politics) and more about self motivation.

You are wrong again. These women feel oppressed and not equal. I suggested they go to countries that do oppress women and gays and anything else that they consider 'not nothing'. That doesn't equal a melt. Come up with a better schtick.
Honest question. Why don't more feminists go to countries that have a history of oppression against women? What are you doing to have equality for all all across the world. Women have the same rights as men do. Its been explained why women don't make the same in sports. Why not combine the two (men and women's soccer leagues, the ANBA (All National Basketball Association). And the other sports that have a means and women's league. After a few years when all the women or damn near all are out of the league maybe perhaps they (and you) will understand.

Did any athletes that won a title for the US skip out on Obama? Genuinely curious; didn’t see any in the article posted earlier.
Matt Birk was a SB champ. Skipped over Obama PP speech.
Obama graciously tried to honor the 73 Fins who never got a WH invite. 3 Fins skipped.
Uber White guy, Larry Bird declined a. Invitation from Reagan. Said something like, “if he wants to meet me he knows where I live.”
When the Packers won the SB in the 90s, Mark Chmura skipped out. Republican values. Later caught w young girls.

Nice lie.
People like her need to be dropped off in the middle of Saudi Arabia with a fresh batch of purple hair and a snack on the arse and told to 'go get em tiger'. And after she is savagely raped and beaten then she might think America isn't so oppressive.[quote

Should we ask why it took months for Trump to invite the women’s national champions in college bb.
Is it less a slight caue they weren’t playjng on an international stage?
