What's your point in bringing in you living in Houston considering this side convo stemmed from you saying you've seen the inequalities and we haven't? Is it just you being around some gay people that makes you some authority on this? They tell you about it from them living somewhere else?
I'm sure he and countless others who don't worship there spend a lot of their free time in temples and mosques learning about others. Just like all of those who worship in temples and mosques like to go to the Baptist church on Sunday just to see what it's all about

Well there's plenty of empirical data to support there being a wide gulf between rural and urban views.
dude, their are urban districts in some cities that are 80% Democrat.
You think it makes a difference? It doesn't.
People congregate together whether they're rural or urban. Diversity of thought is a myth
The ideological battlefield is now among the 16-30 year olds who are less exposed and more prone to new information. That's where you see rapid changes.
But, they still flock together.

You're right, the black people do hate on the gay population the most.
Nothing on anything else I said?

Assume that the world population is roughly 50& for both females and males and that both sexes would support their soccer respective sports, then you could justify equal salaries because of business ads and associated media exposure. However, in the following comparisons what sex has the most viewership and associated revenue: soccer: basketball, NBA vs WMBA; and other sports.
Female athletes protesting equal pay should criticize females for lack of support relative to male support for male athletics. The bottom line is that if adult females supported professional lady sports like adult men then professional salaries for both female and male sports would be equal.

Too bad Twitter or Facebook doesn't agree. PC culture is a cancer, and it's spread by social media.
Criticize a member of a "protected group" and see what happens.

Nope. My bubble entertains the perspective of people from all around the world......not just Hispanics (eluding to your graphic). I am privy to things people in small towns never get to experience in real time. Dialog, their personal experiences, etc.
To insinuate a persons perspective would be the same in Houston/Dallas/New York as it would be in Houma is not correct.
And, I do bounce between these multiple bubbles here (some hate libs, some hate DT, some don't care)......yet they all sit in my big bubble.

very true. and most of the vitriol I see comes from my friends on the hard right.

You have yet to specify what exactly the small town views were that you say are close-minded.

Point? What about Asians (all forms)?

Considering some of these are the sizes of Houston neighborhoods, I would guess its low.
Exactly, they can't (or don't want to) appreciate the other sides

I'll take the word of the gay people I know....its more valid than someone who refuses to know any.
I've also heard/seen from the immigrant community what they face (and fear) moving forward. These are legal immigrants BTW.

I'll bet 90% of the people you associate with, live around, think just like you.
Nothing's tighter than an urban bubble
There were several districts in your city that were nearly eighty percent Democrat
There are rural/urban ideological bubbles of different philosophy, but the excact same consistency. The Bronx is almost 90% Democrat

Probably more of a matter of your perspective.
In my city, the moonbats think a Trump bumper sticker is vitriolic

Honestly, I get where you are coming from and am not really throwing it out.
In my experience, I coordinate with a very wide variety of perspectives. Maybe I'm the anomaly.
I also know some pretty shitty people on the left as well......they too are closed-minded

It's probably very little. Houston is 5% Asian. Point?

A city of 3k and 5k isnt going to have much of anything. It has nothing to do with appreciating other cultures. Those towns can barely appreciate a Walgreens

Are you just speaking in general?
FWIW, gay people and basically all people isolate themselves into their own groups.

I call them citizens of the US. Maybe you should too. What legal citizens of this country are you talking to that are scared of what's happening moving forward?
