to put that in perspective...

68mm Americans contracted H1N1 in 2009.

1/5 of our population.

Besides the fact that I see a map of America and a bunch of green dots in the top left with some blue dots and a red dot under that, I have no idea what the frick im looking at.

The fact this has been overwhelming downvoted says... a lot.

And that this country would be ultra fricked if a real plague came about or EMP or something that caused scarcity of resources.

There is literally no proof that any damage is permanent. As a matter of fact the small studies on this have shown that any damage done will ween over time.

Maybe the dumbass trumpkins will get it and they’ll finally see the light and vote for the party of science if the orange orangutang doesn’t get them with his fish cleaner and Lysol first!

And 1800 children died from H1N1 and there were no school closings. To date, 31 children have died from Covid-19 and most of them likely had pre-existing conditions. Generally, healthy working age people are not dying from Covid-19. The average age of the deaths from Covid-19 is 79 compared to 40 for H1N1. Roughly half of the people who died from Covid-19, Americans 79 and over, have a much lower normal life expectancy than the death rate of Covid-19. LINK

Not really. You’re focusing too much on a snap shot in time of the deaths. The real risk all along is the ability for the virus to spread exponentially without proper controls in place. People aren’t respecting this and complaining about wearing masks, so we’re barely keeping it from getting completely out of hand.
