Believe it or not. Bush scared the frick out of the Russians. I read where a Russian diplomat called Bush, "the most fatalistic man they ever dealt with." They were very leery of pushing Bush too far.

Ahh yes, G-Dub. The man who said of Putin “I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy... I was able to get a sense of his soul.”

You realize Russia invaded Georgia while Bush was still President don't you?

Putin has been on a reunification of the USSR kick for decades now. He doesn't give a shite what we say or do b/c he knows we aren't going to go to war for a bunch of Eastern European countries most Americans can't find on a map.

But you have to let them do it. If Brandon runs the show, it'll be another fine mess.

Do people think the Afghanistan debacle was incompetence??? It was much worse than that.

Is it just me or does it seem like the fates of Biden and Ukraine have been intertwined for some time now? I can’t believe we’re about to go to war with this guy as Commander in Chief.

Bush was trying to “big boy” Putin by cozying up to Georgia.

Putin didn’t hesitate to flip the script. Bush didn’t scare Putin in the slightest.

As for pipelines in Georgia, the BTC pipeline runs though it. It was commissioned in 2006. It connects the Caspian to the Med.

Sleepy Joe probably has a side talk with Putin and has OKed Russia’s invasion as long as they destroy all the evidence with all the shenanigans the Biden’s have had in The Ukrainian

I don’t mean to downplay how difficult this situation is or how few viable policies are available at this point… BUT…

Can you imagine how different the media reaction would be if this was happening while Trump was in office? Every single news segment would be leading with “incontrovertible evidence” that trump was in Putin’s pocket, and that the impending takeover was a direct result the blackmail leverage Putin held. It wouldn’t even be presented as probable speculation, but unavoidable fact.

Just the simplest comparison of the coverage of these two administrations should shake the entire MSM institution to it’s core, but somehow that very minimal self reflection is beyond their grasp. Really pitiful how far they’ve fallen.
