I read a memoir of a blimp crewman on one of those WWII history websites. he was stationed in Florida. Basically it was go out and look for U Boats during the day, which they almost never saw, and slay forties era hotties in the clubs at night

Clean, economical, natural gas.

Blimps are filled with natural gas, right?

Blimps are probably slower too.

So, what is the procedure for selling an exclusive disaster vid?

This chick never saw Nightcrawler?

I mean, the news outlets were on a twit feeding frenzy

Filmed in portrait, so it's basically worthless.

A lot of people taking shite about blimps in this thread. Any of you smart asses know how many blimps were used in nine eleven? Yeah, zero. What about planes, oh they were all planes?

Looks like your bastards just sided with the terrorists.

Looks like it caught fire AFTER it crashed

Golf.com twitter has a small explosion after it crashed on their twitter: @golf_com

quote:

Update: Charley Hoffman saw the blimp descending from the sky during his round. The 40-year-old pro was playing the 7th hole when his caddie pointed it out in the sky. "I saw it happen. I was sitting on 7 tee and my caddie goes, look at that thing just blew up. And it was going down through the air. I didn't see it explode, but it definitely was just happened when he tapped me on the shoulder. So I saw it fluttering down through the sky."
