why anyone, other than a college student would want to live in BRLA is beyond me. I bet a lot of people who live here are stuck one way or another (i.e., kids in school afraid of change, etc)

Seems? Polk County is a fricking shite show man. It's not like it's some dangerous area or anything. There isn't a line where the good area ends and bad area starts. But my goodness, Polk County is full of insane people. Thankfully, they usually keep the crime in house. If you aren't friends or family of the psychos, you're good to go.
