just exploiting the laws. Can’t blame him for making millions in a perfectly legal manner. Our legislature is to blame, not lawyers.
This dumb take is why Louisiana sucks in general. Who do you think lines the pockets of the legislature? Do you realize the majority of the legislature are lawyers similar to Gordon?

so we are the only one that have injury lawyers
Na, but it is ridiculous how there is an official personal injury attorney for every school and pro team.

Go to NOLA and you will see Nissan Altimas everywhere, none of which have license plates or insurance
Can we export all our plateless and insuranceless Altima bros from HTX to you?
TIA, king.

Plaintiff attorneys should not be advertising
You can thank the Rehnquist court for their decision in Bates vs State Bar of Arizona nearly 5 decades ago. The question was does commercial speech merit 1A protection. The court (IIRC it was 5-4) ruled that it did. People love the 1A and 14A right up until they don't.
I don't like the current state of attorney advertising mainly due to the lack of decorum and what that has done to my profession but I agree with the court that attorneys should have the right to advertise like every other business.
John Bates the appellant and his partner (assuming they were competent attorneys) really were doing a good service for the community. They handled straightforward cases like bankruptcy and divorce for lower middle-class clients to "rich" to get legal aid and not rich enough to afford the rates of the average firm at the time.

My 26 year old daughter’s insurance just increased on renewal. State Farm. No wrecks or tickets. I’m waiting to see my damage on renewal. This is ridiculous. Tow cars immediate with no proof of insurance and to jail if that plus no license etc. Leave us alone who have what is required.

David Vitter vowed for tort reform if elected Governor. Carmouche paid for the dirt to make sure that didn't happen.

Mine did too, then I shopped around and got it lowered $80

How are those states less than half of ours?
Tort laws? I doubt they have less accidents per capita than we do.
