I too read it probably 10 yrs ago when it was still online ; i think it was linked to Latham’s IMDb page or something.. i dont remember the part you mentioned about Travolta with the male PA’s and cocaine, but what i do remember is the part where they were filming a bedroom scene and the director and Travolta each got in bed w/Winger, and each ‘suckled’ on her bosoms, one on the left, and one on the right- while the crew watched.. Also, I remember that the crew stayed at this hotel/condo complex across Richmond from the Galleria that’s still there (or at least was as of a couple years ago) called Galleria Oaks(?) i think, and that Winger would stay up all hours of the night having these manic breakdowns.. and the other thing that was kinda crazy is that Travolta would line up a limo almost every night to take him to an adult movie theater, and just hang out watching x-rated films when he wasnt working.. this was way before you could access that stuff on the internet, and even VCRs were brand new at the time, so most (including presumably Travolta) didn’t have one.. the journal Latham kept was a treasure trove of dirt for fans of Urban Cowboy.
