Yes I can explain it. It has to do with foreign exchange rates, treasury note rates, and expanding or contracting monetary policy. The value of currency is derived from a supply and demand curve just like anything else. I'm just not going to write you an essay on it.

It will operate until all the wealth in this country has been transferred, through our government, from the 99% to the 1% who run the government.

Mentions nothing about how the dollar isn't decreasing in value, which was my point, while wages are stagnant. You should be a politician, you never address a point directly or ever actually answer anything.

Reading comprehension is hard. I believe you're looking for the post regarding the USPS, not UPS.

It means that we live in a totally different world than 100 years ago. 100 before that we were trading fricking beads with Indians. What's the value of those now?

Eta: and we can debate the usefulness of the federal bank, and I probably agree with you, generally, on that, but that's not what we're talking about.

Great example. The Indians were getting screwed then as the beads were worthless in reality. You know, similar to how workers have been getting screwed the last few decades. At least you're consistent in supporting people getting taken advantage of.

What makes gold have any value? It's just a metal. Everything is just perceived value in the end. This all started with you not understanding inflation by the way.

And by the way Indians traded beads with other Indians so they weren't "getting screwed." they perceived they had value.

That inflation has gone up? Yes, it has, it's supposed to. Target inflation is around 1-2%. Deflation or stagnant inflation is terrible for an economy. It means the value of your goods and services are decreasing in value and usually is accompanied by a terrible economic climate. Small inflation is a good thing, and in fact, many economist say deflation is worse than a period of high inflation. Is that what you were asking?

And when we combine that with stagnant wages what do we get?

I think we both know the answer to that, but it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that we either didn't understand inflation or advocated for a non inflationary environment, which is asinine.

1 US dollar in 1834 = 1.5 grams of gold
1.5 grams of gold today = about 61.00 US dollars.
1 US dollar today = .03688 grams of gold

Why can't currencies ever increase in value? If we used gold would it not? Are you sure you know about economics? You seem to not even know the US had currency since its creation.

The Anunnaki needed it to repair their atmosphere, therefore giving us the impression it's valuable
