You overpaid regardless of what they sent you. You aren’t getting anything you can’t find at a local ‘mega’ liquor store if you have one

I live in bum fuudge Northeast Louisiana. The nearest liquor store is 20 miles away. The nearest mega liquor store is almost 100 miles away.

I'd be more worried about my dogs than the whiskey.

Not to change the subject, but have you enjoyed the bottles you've gotten from your subscription, or was this the first one? Thinking about doing something like this just to try some different stuff. I have a hard time buying a new random bottle to try so I always end up sticking with the same stuff.

Your problem is not with UPS, it is with your dumb arse dogs. Maybe your dogs should be trained to not rip the frick out of packages and break open glass bottles? wtf kinda dogs you have, man? I have dogs and this isn’t even a possibility.

I have 2 labs. I know that my female lab will tear stuff up. That is why I have a Bakers rack next to the door where packages can be put out of reach of the dog. I also have it set as my default delivery instructions to put package on Baker’s rack out of reach of dogs on my account on the UPS app and the FedEx app. The FedEx driver for my area has no problem following instructions and I have never had an issue with a package of shite by FedEx. The UPS driver refuses to walk over to the Bakers rack and put the package on the Bakers rack. The UPS driver likes to leave packages on the ground in front of the door. This is not the first time I have had an issue with my dogs, destroying a package from UPS that was left on the ground, which is why I had the package sent to the UPS store, or was supposed to be delivered to the UPS store.

First of all, what kind of fricking dogs do you have? I have two dogs and then ripping through a package is not at all a concern of mine.

But you are saying they tore through the package, broke the bottle and started drinking? I've seen people give their dog a smell or alcohol or pour some on the ground to see what their dog would do and the dog either took one lick or just smelled it and not touch it.

Enjoy the Flaviar shipments in that case. Will be worth every penny then.
As others have said monitor your pups to make sure they didn’t ingest even the slightest bit of glass shards.

Not only did the driver lie. The entire package wasn’t supposed to be shipped to my house. I had it shipped to the local UPS store since I wasn’t going to be home to sign for it. Furthermore, our vendors are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (AE/AP/AA) addresses, courier depots, and mail forwarding services. From their site. Perhaps this was your problem?

They shipped it to UPS store last month and the address for delivery according to the tracking link is the local UPS store. I have no idea why UPS delivered it to my residence or even knew how to deliver to my residence.

Rare Breed is my go too I always keep on hand. Common bottle. Just head to Walmart and grab one. Probably cheaper than the club mailing a bottle

Oh, I am. I already called my vet and after he stopped laughing, he said as long as I can count for the vast majority of the glass from the bottle, the whiskey is not going to hurt the dogs. They’re not going to feel good tomorrow, but they will survive. I have collected the glass and most of the bottle was intact and the other piece is fit so I don’t believe they ate any glass.

Sucks that happened. Hope your dogs are OK.

I continually have problems like this with UPS (Fed Ex too for that matter) completely ignoring the deliver to UPS /Walgreens instructions clearly reflected in tracking etc...

I don’t know how much whiskey the dogs drink, and how much ran into the ground or off the concrete. However, the dogs drink enough that they are throwing up and can’t walk straight and their breath smells like whiskey luckily the vet said not to worry since there was no blood in the vomit. If they had eaten glass, there will be blood in the vomit.

Hope they didn’t lap up any broken glass. Keep an eye on them.
ETA and of course someone already thought of that.

Yep, I have to go to Monroe or Vicksburg to get to a Big liquor store unless you just wanna From the local gas station. They have a good selection of cheap alcohol, but they do not have a good selection of quality alcohol and I want some quality alcohol for my home bar.

This was the second one. The first one was a bottle of Wilderness Trail and it was damn good.

That is exactly why I did it. I cannot ever make up my mind in a store and just go with plain old Wild Turkey or Maker’s. I wanted some variety and a surprise.

No UPS is the problem. The driver lied end of story there but to add that you have instructions where to place delivers and they refuse. Also you didn’t even get it shipped to the right address.

UPS drivers get paid between $50-$60 dollars per hour for a job thst most anyone in the slightest good physical health can do, they should be able to get your package to where you request.

I work in the UPS world … I know the high ups would not be pleased with that driver.

Gotcha. They def suck in this situation if they can’t follow instructions which is part of their job.
