Once again androids have the potential to be hacked. This will be my last android. Not just this issue but all the other ones I have had. Iphone is coming back to me as soon as the new one is released soon. It will be shown for the first time next month. LINK

Tech board?

Also, you should probably bump this in a few hours when the rest of the world is awake.

I'm not all that tech savvy but it says in the article

quote:

the two most common Android Operating Systems, Marshmallow and Lollipop, already contain patches designed to defeat Stagefright.

And before that it says

quote:

But don’t jump on the Apple bandwagon just yet. In fact, never do that for any reason.

What device doesn't have the potential to be hacked?

Stagefright was never a big risk for users to begin with, and Google has already closed the exploit for up to date users.

This thread is silly.

That isn't what your post was for. You're delusional if you think any Internet connected device will ever be risk free from attacks.

Judging by this thread, you're more mentally equipped for the ipone anyway. It's a nice fit for children and simple minded folk.

I agree. That would be one less pos thread.

So did you read the articles last week explaining all iPhones are vulnerable to a hacker thru the FACTORY sync?

On this earth, if there are electronic devices connected to the internet, they will have vulnerabilities, period.

If you're smart enough to work an android, you'd never consider going back to Apple.
