So what a "man" does is forgets everything he knows and has been taught and just emulates his wife's daddy. You got a fricked up viewpoint baw

Well picking a fight when you're getting the pussy is not the best time imo.

Has it been verified that mom and dad's life is a real life fairy tale, or could it be just a bit of cover up that mom and dad do to precious daughter that she is blind to see?

I'm not suggesting that her folks are bad, but most times there is a little sugar coating when parents are around their kids.

I was promptly shut down, and told her parents relationship is how she wants hers. That's her goal. Then questioned why I was trying to put her parents down when "I don't even know them".. 2 year relationship..
Now riding in silence. 3 more hours.

Is she the type who is way too involved with her family in general? For example, one weekend you suggest doing something and she says she doesn't feel like it, but if her dad called and asked if she wanted to do the same thing, she would agree without even thinking about it?

If so, you might want to question yall relationship. She has to at least attempt to try to understand your side. Like you said, the two of you have two different up bringings and because of that yall will have different views.

And as for as her wanting her relationship to be just like her parents, I would say there is a good chance their relationship isn't as great as she perceives it. A lot of parents deal with problems, but do not expose them to their children. Does she think her parents relationship is perfect? If so, she has realistic expectations. No matter what you do, it will never meet her expectations so tell her good luck finding that guy and put yourself back on the market.

This is what I thought at first, but I once took an uptown brawd on a date and she essentially let her parents do the thinking for her. She was a transplant from Jersey and 27 years old. Blew my mind. Didn't take her out again.

It's the best time. Shows that the biggest influence she has over you still isn't enough to give her the upper hand.

unverified. I've explained that they probably have disagreements behind closed doors. That's absurd.
Edit: extremely family involved

Absolutely not. What she needs to do is start a separate thread and present her side of the story. Maybe we can knock some sense into her

You can go back and edit your post, but if she thinks that they never disagree or argue about anything then she is delusional. They just don't expose their kids to their problems.

I feel you bro, I just went through this. Girl wants to model her relationship after her parents who have no friends and never leave the house. They sit outside and drink and he wanted to do that all the time.

He would say things like " my parents say "when you make your home what you want, why leave?"" So she tied herself to her house with 4 dogs. Couldn't even take a day trip.

I had to cut bait and run. Could not handle it because it was so damn boring.

No, that would be stupid. Also a good way to ensure she slams them legs shut for a while. He hasn't mentioned sex problems in all this so itf that is to go, too, he's out.
