This might be a dumb question, but is there some sort of implied consent to allow first responders to enter on your property to assist others?
Specifically, if you asked these firefighters to get off your roof, would they have to do so?

didn't hit any residential area, baw, seriously, as is typically the case, the rules of engagement are written in someone else's blood, DL 191, PA 759 et al, are largely responsible for the predictive and reactive windshear detection systems onboard airliners today, as well as the escape/avoidance procedures that all flight crews are trained on today, but being close to DFW is a hell of a lot safer than being in close proximity to a GA airport

When it’s burning, it belongs to the responders. It is evidence preservation. Your bank, insurance company, and neighbors have a vested interest your house burning uncontrolled. Let’s say you owned it outright, all of the vehicles, and did not have insurance on it. You are still burning illegally and putting other people and property at risk.
So if you’re cooking meth at home, or dismembering bodies you always run the risk of a plane falling out of the sky and outing you.

Totally agree with that. GAs will let bozos like me fly in and out of them. That's dangerous. It isn't something I worry about but it did cross my mind on the same day the OP posted about a similar scenario.
There was a commercial in the NE a few years back that took out a neighborhood right? Like an RJ?

that was a prop job, commuter flight, Colgan 3407, inexperienced crew
ETA: that accident, and a few others, but largely Colgan 3407, is responsible for a billions of dollars retooling of simulators in the U.S. airline industry, as well as being responsible premature grounding of all MD-80 aircraft, btw

The cockpit audio for that one is available online. They are watching the wings ice up and talking about how they were never trained to fly in ice. 50 people on board a Continental licesened flight. You are supposed to able to trust the skill of commercial pilots.

don't care what anyone says, and if it steps on any toes, commuter "regional," airlines are the minor leagues, however, read my edit above, that accident resulted in changes to training procedures and upping minimum experience requirements in the industry, as I mentioned, the rules of engagement are usually written in someone else's blood

That's one perk to living out in the country versus in a neighborhood. Likely that one house can be avoided in an emergency where they don't have a choice, but going down. If it's just an object falling out of the sky without any control, still the same random chance of being hit.
Definitely a horrible tragedy that should remind everyone to live your life the best that you possibly can.

I get that, I was just wondering if they can use adjacent property that isn't burning.
I HIGHLY doubt it is ever an issue, but the picture got me thinking.
