It's not guilt or innocence, but whether or not charges will be filed against the cop who shot Ms. Taylor.
I know that...however some other people earlier in this thread dont know the difference

if we can do away with the use of no knock warrants at least some good can come of this
it's going to be hard for the state of KY to justify them after the costs they're about to incur

This is false. She was deep in the drug game.

Definitely won't be limited to KY.

So Louisville as a city has already banned no knocks. I believe Rep. Scott has pre-filed a bill for the next state legislative session to ban them statewide. We'll see if that is fought in legislature though, we have some real chuckleheads in Frankfort who will fight it just to fight it.

I thought this was being announced at 1:30?

Will YouTube Sports be on the scene?

if she didn't fire at the cops, then the statement is true
i don't think anyone is saying there is evidence she fired at the cops, so yes, she lost her life due to no fault of her own + overzealous cops pushing the limits of the law in a structurally deficient legal system

The drug dealer was obviously deep into her as well.

you can thank Democrats for the fear and anxiety, because everyone knows they burn and loot and murder when they don't get their way.
They burn, riot and loot when they do get their way too. So, the outcome really doesn't matter.

I think there's a possibility Hankinson catches a charge. There's some suggestion he didn't follow procedure when he unloaded like he did. He's also already been removed from the department as a result of that action (the FOP is fighting his removal).
Of course, Hankinson may end up in some deeper shite as he was apparently sexually assaulting girls he offered to "drive home" from bars in the East End (predominently white, mid to upper class area). I wouldn't be surprised to see a civil suit pop up from that at the very least. Those complaints were "lost" in his file, which is part of the reason Taylor's family demanding the new reporting system be re-installed with LMPD.
theyre going to have to at least throw a charge on one of them for something...they cant just let them off scot free

Knowingly living with or being a drug dealer is just as dangerous as being an aspiring rapper. It’s not when you’ll die but when.

That doesn't change my point in the least. If she was, and the police had evidence, obtain a warrant for her arrest. They knew where she worked. They could have easily served an arrest warrant on her way to work, at work, on her way home. Then let the courts or a jury decide her guilt or innocence. They chose to obtain a search warrant based on a former boyfriend using her home address, and carried it out in the middle of the night.

We all know that this really doesn't matter. They could drag the policemen out on the lawn of the courthouse right now and execute them. It will not matter. Riots... 95% peaceful, will still happen.

because, like i said, the real issues are structural ones
it's like if your roof has a leak and your floor gets damaged. fixing the floor does nothing to address the real structural issue
