*Update* Have any of y'all used a reverse phone lookup service? *Update*

Do any of y'all have a service to recommend?
Long story short a contractor fricked me on a fence he was supposed to build. Ran off w/$1000 (for materials) and ghosted me. His father's company had trimmed my trees and he mentioned they do fencing too so I assumed they would be fine for the fence since they did a great job on the trees but obviously that faith was misplaced.
All I have for him and the company are the numbers I used to call them, one given by the guy that fricked me and one was on their card.
Need to get an address so I can have him served. My brother is a lawyer and will do this pro bono so I'm not worried about the costs to take this clown to small claims court.

The number on their card gives me nothing while the other number seems to be to a woman who lives in Little Elm which is like 40 minutes from me. I don't see the shithead I dealt with in her Facebook pictures though.

Do they have a Facebook page or a Google listing? I've found that a lot of companies respond quickly to negative reviews. Someone mentioned the BBB too. I doubt they're listed with them, but I've had great success with that route as well.

Not that I've found attached to the phone number on their card and there are several tree removal/trimming services that have the same name.
My brother texted them a little bit ago asking if they could give him some quotes so hopefully they fall for it and respond back.

Get a buddy to call him and say his dad said he does fences. Get him to come to a house to look at the job, and kick his arse.

If I was still young and dumb I'd consider doing something stupid like that it but I have a 2 year old and this dude knows where I live. I just want him to build the fricking fence or give me my money back. I don't want to start a feud.

You don't need a lawyer. Call the cops. That is contractor misapplication of funds and it is a felony. Also, call the Board of Contractors and they will pull his license if they don't make good.
