It was in response to claims they were dealing drugs in the house. They also did not deal drugs on the street corner or In an ice cream truck.

I believe you. Every newspaper article describes Chad Huth as a well liked and great guy. And for the record, I've never said I thought they were dealing drugs. I did respond to Gadnot that there had been speculation on TD that they were dealing or involved in some type of criminal activity.
However, my contention has always been, and still is, that this wasn't just some completely random event. And to further expand on my "completely random event" comment:
If these hood rats were playing with a Ouija Board that night, Chad Huth's address appeared, and they decided to kick down the door having never seen the house or the people in it, THAT'S completely random.
The Lee brothers may have been on the prowl and saw something that Cork and/or his friends had (nice cars?), maybe they had the wrong address, maybe it was a case of mistaken identity; but I just think the fact that SIX armed guys showed up in the middle of the night, broke down the door and lit the place up indicates that they were there with a purpose.
Have NOPD and the DA's Office investigators all just decided these guys showed up at the the door for no reason? I doubt it. Maybe they haven't determined a specific reason why that house was targeted, but I hope their conclusion isn't "Well, shite happens..."

Unless I missed something, the people in Metairie were shot by a lone gunman. The girlfriend was cruising the street in the stolen Highlander.
He saw the garage and kitchen doors both open, retrieved his shotgun and then went into the house. They had been burglarizing unlocked cars in the neighborhood, when he saw the open door.

It may be completely random for the victim, but the perps are generally targeting someone or something. Every now and then a Charles Whitman appears and truly randomly starts shooting people, but not usually.

I never once "attacked the victims". You need to read my comments a little closer. My comments have been almost exclusively about the mentality of criminals.

First and foremost, what a harrowing story for you Cork. I can remember when this happened and being so sickened with what some people can do. Just a horrible tragedy and you are a great friend and man, from reading these testimonies.
