It doesn’t fricking matter, so they distance learn for the 1st 2 weeks of the year then go in the classroom after Labor Day, nothing happens the first 2 weeks of school anyways.

Those 2 weeks are insignificant when it comes to COVID concerns. Why would it suddenly be ok to go return.
They aren’t going to go back.

If you think Avegno is stopping at 2 weeks, let me know what you want to wager.

They will eventually go back but I think all schools will adopt a rotating program, half distance learning and half in classroom learning.
They need the social interaction, it’s part of school. It’s essential
If bars and restaurants can open then so can schools

How do parents deal with this? How do dual income working families do this?
This sounds like a great way to ensure the majority of a generation is uneducated dipshits easy to manipulate and easy to destroy.
We're already seeing the results of the decaying education system. Decaying it further isn't the answer.
I can't understand how people think the pros outweigh the cons here. The cons seem enormous. From lower education standards all the way to increased child abuse.

I don’t know the answer but I can just speculate tutors, nannies, college students helping out.....I don’t know.
I am hearing some privates are just pushing back their start dates until the end of August. So who knows what’s going to happen in 2 weeks

I know you're not arguing for it.
But doesn't the ridiculousness of this statement bother you?
Schools are shut down because kids can't be together and teachers are at risk.
The solution? Make half the kids go home at the same time for days at a time and bring in those teachers and tutors to watch them.
It's a circle of retard logic.

I know It’s dumb, you asked a question and I answered. It’s ridiculous. However that rotation model has been mentioned.
I’m just fed up with all this shite
Leave the bars open, let restaurants open, gyms, churches and protest are all good and fine. Box Stores, grocery stores, hair salons,
But keep the schools closed? Arent schools more essential than all those things I just listed?

Yes. They are.
But "think of the children" is an easy mantra for greedy government leaders to grab power and they won't let it go. It's why we have to fight it.

Liberals could give two shits about you or me making a living. If we go broke and we wind up on the Government dole, that's more control for them. frick every single last one of them. Put the kids back in school!!!!

I know what a waiver does
Apparently you don't. There are a lot of things you cannot waive in Louisiana. A lot of liability waivers in this state are less valuable than toilet paper.
