I don't carry out here either. But I don't sleep in the woods every night. We have found "campers" sleeping in a narrow spot between our building and a fence at work more than once in the last couple of years. Found another one asleep in a parking spot in the parking lot in the middle of the day.

Someone was shot in broad daylight at an RV park and in the parking lot of a dispensary here not even two months ago.

This "homeless camping" seems to be an even bigger trend than van life.

only someone on meth would leave all their guns and knives at their campsite after they murdered two women. also: the meth heads rap sheet is burglary, theft, meth charges he was in jail many times & released, why would he murder two women?

they texted he was creepy so I doubt he was dealing meth to them. A meth head that robs is not a dealer they are just looking for their next fix.

what if it turns out(plot twist) the meth head didn't murder-but the BF is a freak serial killer? does he have a rap sheet?

It's just the consequences of Californication.

How often are police asking to search your vehicle?

In my younger days it happened three times. I let them twice, the third I told them no. Later on, I was driving to Knoxville around 2AMish and got pulled over. That cop was an arse, and I refused. He said he would get a warrant, and I told him to go ahead. He went back to his car, waited a while, came back, and let me go.

Take my Ford F350
Everyone bring $350 to pitch in for gas
We'll stop every 350 miles

True that. It seems even worse in places like Portland, Eugene, and Salem.

Then he arrives in Florida on Sept 1

I keep seeing this. Is there any way to verify that he in fact got to FL on the first? I feel like that was just what BLs mom said, but is there any verification?

I’d imagine it was more along the 3 or 4. Obviously the cops will know when he got back based on gas stations/cell phone towers pinging etc.

I think if the cops had any knowledge that he actually got back on the 1st, when GP supposedly sent a text on the 30th that she had no service they would already have brought him in for questioning instead of just asking and hoping he cooperates.

I read earlier that the trip was scheduled to end on 10/1. They planned on going through Oregon. BL arriving home on 9/1 was a surprise.

You say this....
quote:

the meth heads rap sheet is burglary, theft, meth charges he was in jail many times & released, why would he murder two women?

Then this....

what if it turns out

quote:

the BF is a freak serial killer? does he have a rap sheet?

Think about that for a minute.

You're willfully choosing to believe a drug addict with a verified lengthy rap sheet couldn't possibly kill someone while at the same time saying a guy who you have no clue about in regards to his criminal past is a serial killer.

People just want to believe that their opinion is the correct one. They will do whatever mental gymnastics they need to make the pieces fit.

I don't know what the hell happened. I believe we are looking at two troubled individuals and attempting to make a judgment with only a fraction of the story.

There are places I definitely carry firearms. There are a couple of islands where you would be an idiot for not packing heat.

But most places if you're just hiking, bear spray is enough.

I agree. I also don't think bear spray would be the best choice inside a tent while being mauled by a bear from the outside.

I think that must have been a clip of her driving on their past road trip, the one they said wasn’t as good because it was in her tiny car. That doesn’t look like the sprinter van to me

It’s in their van life video
Maybe some others can see if it looks like a van/car to them. I thought it was the van but can say it was more of an assumption based on the content they were aiming to produce in the title of the video.

The hotel that I keep hearing about is a Fairfield Inn near SLC. The one in MOAB seems a little less relevant. They know that she was still alive after the 12th.

Moab hotel can’t confirm that Laundrie stayed the night there.
is that really newsworthy? A lot of hotels have zero interaction with guests after they check-in. I stayed in 2 different hotels last weekend and I doubt anyone would be able to confirm whether my wife and kids were there with me.
