Here's an article about her activity on a camping app called Dyrt. Haven't had time to scroll all the way through.
ksl news link
That's an interesting link and it clears up the lesbian couple connection. One of the dead, Kylen Schulte, worked at the Moonflower Coop the same day that Petito and Laundrie were pulled over for a possible "domestic disturbance." Someone reported this possible domestic situation after viewing an interaction between Petito and Laundrie at the co-op store. The link shares a woman stating that Kylen Schulte had gotten off work an hour and a half before GP and BL were seen fighting. I mean, a strange coincidence, for sure. Police are investigating for a possible connection.
From the article
quote:
The COLD team cannot confirm where Petito camped that night (the night of the police encounter in Moab UT which was August 12), however her The Dyrt account provides some potential clues. Petito had flagged possible campsites on U.S. 128 along the Colorado River, as well as in the Porcupine Rim area of the Manti-La Sal National Forest.
The Porcupine Rim site sits roughly five miles north of the place where, on Aug. 18, deputies from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office located the bodies of Crystal Turner and Kylen Schulte. Turner and Schulte had been reported missing two days earlier. Investigators determined both had been shot to death.
An unsealed Grand County search warrant affidavit revealed Turner and Schulte had last been seen in Moab on the night of Aug. 13. Schulte reportedly told friends a “creepy man” was in the area of their camp and that if anything happened to them, they’d been murdered.

Wait so you’re saying they were potentially 5 miles away from where the people were found dead? When were they potentially there?
Posted on 9/17/21 at 12:35 pm to Crimsonite94
Yes but they were shot multiple times and there’s no evidence suggesting either YouTuber had a gun.

It’s still interesting though, because the argument happens after the girl left work. I wonder if Brian wanted to go hangout with them or go to their campsite and gabby didn’t want to do that?
I’m reaching, but something tells me that couple is at least a clue in all of this.

Their police interaction was August 12. Schulte was last seen August 13. Did they encounter Schulte at the Moonflower Coop on August 12 and then meet her at the bar on August 13?
Who is the "creepy guy" around the campsite that worried Schulte so much that she was just figuring she would probably be murdered by him?!

The police statements mentions that the call was placed from the co-op store by a guy named Christopher.
I could see a possible motive for BL/GP to seek revenge if Turner or Schulte had been the one to report them to the police, but from what we know so far this doesn’t appear to be the case

Maybe that’s why Brian didn’t want them searching the van?

Yep that would be a remarkable coincidence:
Police encounter 8/12 began where one of the gay couple worked.
Gay couple last seen 8/13 - discussed they might be murdered
BF supposedly leaves for Fla. 8/17
Bodies found 8/18

Most normal folks don't let the police search their vehicle for no reason.
No probable cause.

No, but the police are working together in those two cases. I feel like they would have told us by now if there was no correlation.

They were also at the coffee shop that morning where the other lesbian worked.

I don't buy that. If one of the lesbians had recognized the "creepy guy" from the co-op I don't that's how she would have referred to him in the text to the friend. She would've been more specific about seeing, or meeting, him earlier in the day I think.

I don't want police searching my vehicles without probable cause, either. Sometimes I allow it, sometimes I decline. I'm not required to give them access to my vehicle.

You wouldn’t leave southern Utah, go all the way up to Crater Lake and then back down to Teton if you’re planning on going up to Yellowstone and leaving out the West entrance.
They made it to Crater Lake? I'd read where their goal was to get to Oregon but I didn't realize that they were ever actually in the state.
Or is this the Crater Lake in California?

I haven't seen that anywhere. Is that confirmed? Was she working at that time?

Another friend has spoken and claims Gabby wouldn’t have run off on her own. The separation anxiety thing kinda makes that believable too.

If only he had allowed the police to look in that van on the 12th.
TBH, if they didn't have a gun with them on a trip like this, they were crazy...especially when you know that you're going to be sleeping off of a lot of beaten paths.
