Just curious, since there is a lull in the action, what does it cost to defend yourself for murder charges?
$50k, $100k?
For a good firm with good murder results figure starting at $100k and through trial $250k at a minimum especially considering expenses for a quality defense.
High exposure cases change the formula, you might get a good firm to take it pro-bono for the exposure and you may pay double for another firm to "accept" the exposure.
Keep in mind far less than 1% of people charged with murder get what I would consider a quality defense.
People often grouse about how money unlevels the playing field in favor of the rich, in reality it tends just to bring it back to level. It looks unlevel because prosecutors as a whole enjoy the unlevel playing field that the huge budgets afford them and often are not equipped to deal with an equally large budget on the defense side.
If I were asked by a friend accused of murder I would tell them to beg, borrow or steal at least $500k and throw the kitchen sink at it.

Didn't they used to have a body farm at UTk that they used to study this and learn about decomposition? Anyone know if they still do that there?
Yep, and they still do it. It was pretty much the first of it's kind and is the model for all the others that have popped up over the years.

See? You can not comprehend anything that you read. Either that, or you intentionally change what people say to TRY to make yourself look like less of an idiot.
Saying that we don't know when he decided to kill her and that he could have planned to do so before they even left on the trip isn't the same thing as claiming that was actually the plan.
Most people can see the difference. You've shown time and time again that you can't.

But please continue with the fan fiction.
Well excuse me. I just thought someone would have come across the body before now if there were campers all around.

I said this a few days ago. It’s really crazy to think what could have been going on at the time that the Bethune people passed.

Except in Orleans Parish.
The odds of conviction on “murda” charges are approaching 100/1 nowadays

That's tough on anyone, much less 'kids'... Which is what they truly are.
I had two kids by that age. My grandfather started digging coal at thirteen, married by 16 and was married for 63 years when he died. Age ain't got shite to do with maturity.

Pretty telling.

BL parents helped him escape. Aiding and abetting. There's no way he's out running the FBI. He's not in FL.
He is in Jackson, MS; hiding out near the fair grounds. No one will find him there. And if they do, law enforcement will not be able to go in there.

That's right. And I said as much in my post. I said they were too emotionally immature.
By and large, kids today are far less emotionally mature for their ages than in years past.

Now you're crawfishing?

All of this coming from the guy that keeps falsely accusing people of defending BL
You've literally been doing what you accused him of constantly.
