Just because someone refuses to drink water from a plastic bottle doesn’t mean they won’t commit murder. The two have absolutely nothing to do with one another.

I thought it was a good thing to note from the video that no one else had mentioned yet - probably because it’s irrelevant. When we only have so much info to work with, may as well take every angle we can

he wouldn’t take the bottle of water bc he doesn’t drink from plastic
Let’s be real here.. plastic takes what? 20,000 years to decompose? A human body takes a few weeks in the right environment.
The only thing I can truly derive from him being anti-plastic is that he is a raw-dog-only dude.

I thought the point that was being made is that this guy seems to be a headcase.

You know how I know you're a poor negotiator?
I'm not saying that him refusing the water proves his innocence. What I am saying is he did give an insight into his character at that moment and it was instinctive, not something someone would do to make themselves seem less suspicious. These "reads" can be very instructive in all aspects of life.
Beyond the water bottle, he was composed, looked out for her in every possible way while talking to the police, and explained how she gets anxious and needs to settle down sometimes. All this, coupled with the witness, doesn't lead me to believe the dude is a cold blooded killer. Could I be wrong? Of course. But after watching that video, my takeaway is not only that he didn't kill her but I don't believe he had it in him to kill her even if he wanted to.

He’s not looking for her or looking out for her right now

You’re just saying this because he’s white. All you white liberals would be wanting to hang this man if he was black

We aren’t talking about negotiations. You made the comment because he has strong principles regarding bottled water he would have strong principles regarding killing. Once again the two have nothing to do with one another. Plenty of murders have had strong principles regarding similar meaningless things

Ted Kaczynski comes to mind.

36 pages in, watched the video, the press conferences.
That dude is a beta, eco warrior, snowflake. She was completely falling apart and having serious mental issues. He's in her van, 40+ hours from home, she's crying uncontrollably all day and slapping his arse. She either committed suicide or went off screaming in the desert, he rolled straight to the parents and went into lockdown knowing he's going to take the blame regardless

BL was also covered in scratches on his neck, face and up his arms when police pulled them over which is worth noting. This was 8/12

If the man was black, Gabby would be alive because the Moab Cops would’ve shot him before he got out the car

Motherfricker you sound like the idiots who mis-profiled DTL as a white man in a white pickup truck.

It was just something I noticed that I, personally, believe is somewhat of a tell...I promise you I'm not calling the FBI to point out "the water bottle"
On the other end of the dialog, you had ole girl telling the cops twice that she was OCD, hinting that her mental illness was responsible for the situation rather than she herself being responsible for the situation. Doesn't exactly scream "stable" to me.

Gabby was clearly going through some mental issues, it's undecided how unhinged he was, but he seemed to be the cooler head in the couple based on the long video. However, no one truly knows at this point what he is.

True story I have a friend who spent all day in police interrogation during that time because he parked his white company truck on the side of a rural road while he was picking mushrooms.

This is actually an interesting story.
I'm getting creepy vibes when the cops are like "you have money for a hotel? We can bring her to one"

This guy is rationalizing everything. The water bottle angle is the proof! She's OCD! HA! He is too, just not that particular way. These character types always blow up one day. She goes back and forth while his lays dormant. This is not going to show when yer talking to cops(sometimes). The water thing is the clue to it.

I think she’s in a weighted burlap sack at the bottom of a lake.
