I don't understand this guy. Obviously, he isn't the brightest.
Given that he was only a person of interest and not a suspect, instead of "meditating in the swamp," why he didn't hightail it out of the country?
It's just a very, very odd case. People just don't go on cross country road trips and not return with their partner. Friends and family are going to have questions - where the frick is she? Also, given how she documented everything via YouTube, again, just going silent all of a sudden would raise eyebrows.

You can't bring it up without it being challenged with "we don't know."
Of course we don't know everything. But the information we do know gives us a pretty good picture of what happened and where to get evidence.
I couldn't convict the guy, but we sure have a solid start.

No it’s because the body of a small blonde girl was found 1000 feet from where the van was located and no other small blonde girls are missing. Normal people infer this is her. Abnormal people spend hours on the internet arguing the possibility that it may not be her.

She was possibly out there for a while. Decomposition, animals, etc. Sadly, I seriously doubt she had an intact tattoo.

I think that’s what they mean when they said signs point to it being her on the fbi press conf on Sunday.

I can't do that. As far as I know, those statistics haven't been calculated and any odds I post would be speculative.

Your problem is the hardcore belief that the 2 views are not able to be held at the same time, which is wrong.
That's why I try to describe things in terms of betting terms. An overwhelming favorite doesn't mean there isn't wiggle room.
Lots of people have had major issues admitting they're basing their beliefs on assumptions and not facts. That's been the discussion du jour.

No way to tell. Someone said earlier some suicides people do it where they are comfortable and want to be found. Some may do it in an obscure place and just want to end it. No telling.
