I very much agree with you. However the most solid pieces of “facts” we do have to work with in this case, which aren’t many, is police statements. And one of those statements was that the cases were unrelated.
I’m keeping my eyes on it either way.

Do we know that though? If the UT police have said there’s no connection, then surely the must have something. Not releasing anything because it may be sensitive to another investigation (maybe even this one)
I suspect the double murder has a better chance to be linked to that lunatic in Colorado that had all those weapons at his campsite vs BL/GP involvement

I was mostly pointing out that both witnesses were named Baker.
As far as Brian hitchhiking, it could’ve been intentional for his alibi. She did say he abruptly wanted to get out & offered them $200 for the ride. Which wouldn’t be weird except he couldn’t afford a hotel room during his police encounter earlier in the week. Whatever he did, they remembered him.

Have police even verified the TikToker's statement? It seems odd that the first thing she decided to do with her potentially valuable information is make a tiktok video.

That was actually a few weeks before they got to Grand Teton. He could have gotten some cash when he allegedly flew from SLC to Florida after the police encounter, if he did indeed make that trip
