when I had to sleep during the day I got black out curtains.

"Tin foil" is probably Reflectix. It's to keep an area from heating up. Trailer is a metal box. Very common. Lot of vehicle window shades are the same.
Sensors are probably multiple capability. IR / thermal, EM, acoustic. Could monitor movements inside the trailer through heat signature. They could potentially hear conversations the guy was having whether voice or on the phone or intercept wifi traffic to look at his online searches or emails etc. Could also potentially be seismic too. Whatever your imagination can come up with, the sensors exist for it. They may also be collection stations to harvest data from his phone or computer.
My guess is the sensors got them information indicating she was dead and that the BF was scheming on what he was going to do about it, and maybe indicated he killed her or something. Murder charge will come after evaluating her.
The wet bulb in the military is mostly used to determine the heat condition for PT, outdoor work, hydration needs, etc. I would think local weather data would be sufficient for providing that information.
They use globes for various purposes like protecting the sensors, concealing them, etc. Know where else they have globes - on light posts. Think about that next time you walk down the street.

People living in a 3 thousand dollar trailer probably can't afford black out curtains. But it's obvious these people were meth heads.

He told them I'm sure, but intially they took him into custody for moving the body not the murder. I'm convinced the authorities are pushing for a confession!

I doubt he straight up murdered her. And he appears to be familiar with the penal system--I'm not sure he offers up a confession, unfortunately. They don't have enough to even charge him with murder yet, much less capital. Why would he confess?
He should still die a horrible death, though. And I'm not absolving the mom of any criminal wrongdoing quite yet either.

I thought the same thing. He could have run her over with his truck while she was playing in the yard, horse play in the trailer, jumping on the bed, slipped in the tub... just a simple accident. Normal people call 911. Drug addicts panic because they don't want to get busted and end up doing stupid shite like hiding the body and then reporting a fake kidnapping. These dumb fricks probably thought it was a brilliant plan a few days ago.

He is being held at the Onslow County Detention Center on a $1.01 million bond and is due in court Monday at 8 a.m., according to the arrest warrants.
The warrants states Kimrey obstructed justice by removing Mariah Woods’ body from the scene of her death and did conceal Mariah Woods’ death and body, knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes. The defendant acted with deceit and intent to fraud.
"It also points out that Kimrey unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did with intent to conceal the death of a child, Mariah Woods, failed to notify a law enforcement authority of the death of Mariah Woods, and secretly disposed of the dead child's body, knowing, and having reason to know the body and human remains of Mariah Woods are of a person that did not die of natural causes."
In a separate warrant Kimrey is accused of breaking into a woman's house and stealing two dressers valued at $40.00. Investigators have not revealed how the break-in is connected to the Mariah's disappearance.
