I'll admit that I was assuming these inmates were black until I saw their pictures. And be honest- I'm sure I'm not the only person who thought that.

Nah, breaking out of prison seems like a total white move.

I can't imagine how brutal of a scene that must've been. The Putnam County sheriff said he was one of the first on scene and had the dead officers' blood on his shoes. God I can't even imagine what their families are going through.

Props to the other prisoners for remaining on the bus and acting like civilized humans. Authorities said a few are even actively assisting in the investigation.

Not sure why this sounds funny to me but....

I was actually wondering if any tried to help the guards after they were shot or were they too scared they'd get blamed on some level if they got involved.

If you're referring to Forsyth, GA, it's on I-75 about halfway between Macon and Atlanta. It also happens to be home to the state law enforcement training facility.

I dont understand why men like that are not hand cuffed to the seat and also leg shackles locked to the floor. Yes it would take more time to unlock and take each prisoner off one by one, but it is a lot safer for the guards

Ever considered they had a cuff key? They aren't hard to make at all

The Putnam County Sheriff said to the escapees in a news conference: "Give yourselves up before we find you".

I wonder what he meant by that.....

Update:

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities have released new information about the two escaped inmates accused of killing two Georgia correctional officers on a transport bus in Putnam County early Tuesday morning.

According to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, a white 2008 Ford F-250 (GA tag BCX 3572) was taken in Morgan County in the Seven Islands Road area. Detectives said the stolen vehicle is "positively linked" to Ricky Dubose, 24, and Donnie Russell Rowe, 43, who have been on the run for more than 24 hours.

I wonder when the truck was stolen. Seems they're hanging around the area they escaped from

Surely it was taken early yesterday and was just now noticed. I can't imagine they'd hang around there. Who knows though.

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - The Noxubee County Sheriff's Department says it is investigating reports of two Georgia prison escapees possibly being in Noxubee County.

Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grassaree says his department is searching a 20 square mile area east of Highway 45.

That would be good place to hide out. Bunch of empty camps down along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.

To a certain extent it is the smart thing to do. Movement get noticed. You will HAVE to encounter roadblocks...If you can lie low for a short while, the authorities have to come to you...a lot more ground to cover for the good guys.

Peej predicted they would be dead yesterday...Another winner.

Have these baws really not been caught yet?

Obviously I hope they get apprehended/die without anybody else being hurt...but that's kinda impressive
