That's a pretty strong embedded rotation.

Is it going northeast?

That whole section of the line is tornado warned.

Little too broad for a tornado but that is some spin
Those things are dropping significant hail too

This batch of storms should be well north of there. However, a line of storms will likely move through during the overnight/early morning hours. Also have to watch for any other unexpected cells to pop up.

I hate how NWS Memphis writes their tornado warnings. They say that every tornado warned storm is “producing a tornado” rather than saying that it “is capable of producing a tornado,” even if they don’t have any confirmation of a tornado on the ground.
Every other NWS office says “capable of producing a tornado” unless they have confirmation of a tornado on the ground.

It is Memphis. That is all I will say.

I thought I was the only one bothered by this shite, it makes me insane. Memphis is the worst.

When one tornado warning won’t do stack three on top of each other.

Nope. It is weird and contradictory to what every other NWS office does.

Polygons errywere! They don't even make all that much sense.

Tornado or not, there's some high wind in Crenshaw right now. I hope it isn't packed and full of cars.
Posted on 3/27/21 at 10:29 pm to LegendInMyMind
Looks like nice straight line wind
Posted on 3/27/21 at 10:32 pm to The Boat
Yeah, straight line winds pushing 70mph. Not a whole lot of rotation.
